“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God”— Romans 8:18-19 (Esv)
There is no intention of God for any human being to remain the same or at whatever level one finds himself or herself. These scriptures have a lot to reveal on that. They say the whole creation expects something higher of you. It is “the new you”, even if you do not see it so. You are to manifest as a “son of God”.
You may be wondering why the whole world is, or you yourself are going through some hard things. Sometimes, they are so difficult you wonder whether God really cares. But now we understand that they are “stepping stones” to a greater and a better you. In other words, what you may think of as a weapon to finish you is actually a ‘tool’ for shaping the new you.
For you as a Christian, note that there is your new level that has to be seen, not in Heaven but right here on earth. In reality, the entire creation is ‘crying’ to see the real sons of God - those who manifest the nature and power of God. This is not only in spiritual things but cuts across all aspects of life. That includes you being made into an extraordinary personality as per God’s standards. So start praying towards that. Jesus is coming soon!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I ask for the power in Your Word to affect my life and my being in a way that will enable me manifest as Your son on earth. in Jesus’ name. Amen!
