It is very vital to be aware of what your faith-filled words can do. Knowing what words can do (words have creative powers), we must ensure to be backing our utterances with faith. The reason is, they have the ability and also go a long way to shape our own world.
Note that words without faith still work somehow. The difference is, the outcome is not always the desired end. For words to create what we desire to see, we must have faith backing the words being released. When faith is absent, we can be sure that our words will be negative and not able to accomplish what we really want to see. A negative effect is what their potency will produce.
We must therefore work on our faith life by “soaking in the Word”. For faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Rom 10:17). When we receive faith we must then release it through what we say to make it achieve what we desire. Romans 10:8-9 says “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”. Remember, Jesus is coming back!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray for my faith to be strengthened to the point where I speak based on my strong belief, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
