Scheduled: Guarded in Grace (Model B)

Guarding the good deposit begins with attention. The first work of discipleship is not noise or haste; it is steady, watchful listening before God. In that quiet place, Scripture stops being a quote for the day and becomes formation for the life we are actually living.

When we learn to practice this posture, courage grows in ordinary moments. We choose faithfulness over performance, prayer over panic, and stewardship over impulse. The entrusted word must be carried faithfully into ordinary days. The Spirit does not rush us, but He does mature us through repeated obedience.

Let this teaching travel with you into today’s conversations, decisions, and burdens. Keep your heart open to correction, your hands open to generosity, and your schedule open to the presence of God. The good deposit is guarded not only in sermons, but also in hidden acts of love and integrity.

Return to this word tonight. Ask what changed in you after carrying it all day. Ask where Christ strengthened your witness. Ask where you still need grace. Then rest in the confidence that He who started the work in you is faithful to complete it.
