Most times when we are in need, we expect God to act for us. Now here is a key that points to a way to get our solutions. It is by “coming to God” while believing Him to do something about that situation. We know that God knows all things and can do all things, so we would wish that He will first “make that move”; to step into our situations and change things.
Sometimes He does but the norm (according to the scripture) is to go to God ourselves. True faith acts on what is believed. Take note of these scriptures: “Come unto me all that....are weary and I will give you rest!” (Matt 11:28), “Call to me....go and pray.. I will listen to you!” (Jer 29:12), “Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek, you will find, knock, it will be opened to you”(Matt 7:7).
All of these require some kind of acting on our part. In the circumstance of a need, do not sit idle, thinking something will just happen. It does not work that way. Act by praying in faith and then follow it up practically and take the necessary steps. That shows you truly believe. Make that move and see the Lord answer you. Jesus is coming soon!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray for the grace and strength to act on my beliefs, following my faith with actions that will release answers to me, in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen!
