It Is Well

One of the hardest things in life is to be faced with unexpected and difficult situations. Everyone can identify with such a situation in one one thing or another at some time. But our God, Who is on top of every circumstance says in sum, “It is well”! This is because in the final analysis, He turns and makes everything work for our good, especially those who love God and are called to His purpose.

Humanly speaking, it is hard and difficult. But when we remember God is on our side, and knowing how He works, we can embrace the fact that “this one too has come to work for our benefit”! Fact also is, before they showed up, He was already aware and ahead of them. The question then is, why does He not prevent or stop them? However, knowing how the Lord works, it is to to give us victory in the end and prove the enemy wrong.

In hard times, our natural self is tempted to be demoralized and distanced from God, thinking He has deserted us. But then somehow, we desire His intervention too. The key is to rather turn to Him more and love Him more. That is how He causes everything to turn to our advantage. May all things turn out in your favour in these challenging times.
